Sep 14, 2010 · Check this out! I know this will make a few of you guys gag, but I think it looks wicked cool. I'm totally going for a vintage mid-70's drag / muscle car look. I borrowed these 15x10's from a friend just to check for clearance and what not. They seem to be 3.25 inch backspacing. The slicks are 29.5x10's. My god this thing looks bad ass. The fact is, you want to run the softest springs you can. We run between 350 and 450 lb front springs in our big block cars, but our cars are fully sorted and adjustable, and that allows us to optimize spring rates. Contact us for front spring rates not listed. Free Freight Note: Ride height will have to be adjusted by cutting the spring.

"We [Calvert Racing Suspensions] deal with a wide variety of drag cars. We might see a car that weighs around 3,300 pounds, runs a big-block engine that puts out 500 to 600 hp, has a 3-speed auto-matic transmission, uses a transmission brake, has a pair of 29×10-inch slicks, and runs 10-second ETs in the quarter-mile.
